Albioma is an independent renewable power producer committed to the energy transition, harnessing biomass, photovoltaic and geothermal.

Over the past 25 years, we have developed a unique partnership with the sugar industry, producing renewable energy from bagasse, the fibrous residue of sugar cane. The Group operates in Overseas France, Mauritius and Brazil.

Albioma targets 80% renewable energy by 2023. In 2021 Albioma has entered the geothermal energy business with the acquisition of the 13 MW Gümüşköy power plant in Turkey
